To what extent do you agree ordisagree?应该有四周休假：1. 假期能够有助于提升工作表现这种说法有一定的道理，因为在假期中，人们可以逃离日常工作的乏味。It may be reasonable that holidays can improve job performance. Witha holiday, most workers will escape from their daily work routine, which ismost likely to be repetitively boring. 不应该有四周休假：1. 但是，休假的人可能需要一段时间来恢复自己的工作状态，尤其是在休了一个长达一个月的假期之后，而恢复的这段时间工作效率会比较低。However, holiday takers, especially after a vacation as long as amonth, will have to spend some time to get back to their working mode, therebyhaving low work efficiency for a certain period of time. 2014.05.17Children can learn effectively from watching television. Thereforechildren should be encouraged to watch television regularly both at home and atschool. Actually, what is taughtin class is out of line with what is required by the real world2. 学习的意义被低估并且被误判了。The significance of learning is still underestimated or evenmisjudged. 措施：1.  要解决这个问题，则需要在课堂上提供实用的技能教学，一遍年轻人能够学会怎样去处理实际的问题以及复杂的人际关系。To cope with this problem requires provision of practical skills inclass so that young people can learn how to deal with practical issues andcomplicated interpersonal relationship.2.  年轻人应该要培养务实的、严肃的学习态度，并且要领会学习对于他们未来生活和工作的重要性。Youngsters should foster a down-to-earth and serious-minded learningattitude and learn to appreciate the significance of learning to their futurework and life.  2014.06.07Some people think that if a police force carries a gun, it can leadto a higher level of crime in the society. To what extent do you agree ordisagree?警察应该配枪：1. 如果能看到配枪的警察，人们会感到更加的安全。People will feel safer if there is a visible presence of armedpolice.2. 配枪的警察能保护人们免受暴力事件的袭击，比如说炸弹。Arming police can protect us from violent or terrorists events suchas bombers.警察不应该配枪：1. 但是，也有人认为经常唯一能做并且经常会做的事情就是犯错误，尤其是当有枪战参与进来的时候。However, some people argue that what arming police can do, andalways do, is making mistakes, especially when there are firearms involved. 2014.06.19Some people think that adults should learn practical skills by themselves, while others believe that learning from a teacher in a classroom is better. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.成人自己学习技能：1. 成年人比起小孩来说独自学习的能力更加强。他们已经积累了一定的基础知识和理论，并且也已经发展出了自己的学习方式。Indeed adults are more capable to study alone than children. Theyhave accumulated some basic knowledge and theories and developedtheir own way of study. 2. 成人的另外一个优势是他们有自制力，这使得他们能够全身心的投入到学习中去。Another advantage of adults is that they have self-discipline, whichcan make sure they are likely to pay full attention to study. 成人向老师学习技能：1. 如果有经验丰富的老师的指导，学习将会更加有效率，而学习的效果也会更加好。With the demonstration and instruction of anexperienced teacher, study process would take less time than self-learning andthe learning outcome would be more ensured and enhanced. 2014.06.21An increasing number of people change careers in their working life. What are the causes?  Do you think it has a positive or negative effect on the development of society? 原因：1. Gaining knowledge in differentareas is necessary in modern society, and changing jobs regularly will adapt tothis new trend.现代社会需要了解不同领域知识的人才，频繁换工作是为了应对这个趋势。2.  The younger generation ismore likely to find an ideal job by changing jobs frequently, for they can havediverse work experience.年轻人通过频繁更换工作来找到理想的职业。积极影响：1. 增加流动性，促进知识和人才的流动。This trend will encourage the exchange between a variety ofexpertise.消极影响：1. However, it may have negative effects on social stability, as theunemployment rate will increase if most people keep changing their careers.不利于社会稳定，频繁换工作总的来说会影响就业率。  2014.06.28With the increasing demand for energy such as oil and gas, people start to look for their sources in remote and untouched places. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?在偏远地区寻找资源的好处：1. 解决重要的能源需求，因为能源对于经济发展至关重要。Searching for energy resources in remote and untouchedareas will definitely relieve the increasing pressure of energy demands, whichwill in turn benefit the economic development.1. 促进偏远地区的经济发展。This trend will help the development of those rural areas.在偏远地区寻找资源的坏处：1. 破坏当地的生态环境，在长期来看是有害的。However, entering those fragile regions to look for resources willpose a threat to the local ecosystem in the long run.2. 不利于可替代能源的开发，因为人们只会依赖于寻找新的能源供应地。It may also have negative impacts on the search of alternativeresources, as people may depend more heavily on finding news sources of oil andgas.
