　　文中的green-car subsidy program就是指“新能源汽车补贴计划”，green car就是“新能源汽车”，一般指使用非常规车用能源作为动力的汽车。具体讲，包括Hybrid Electric Vehicle（HEV，插电式混合动力汽车）、Battery only Electric Vehicle（BEV，纯电动汽车）、Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles （FCEV，燃料电池电动汽车）、以及使用氢和一些其它新能源的汽车。
　　Vehicle emission也就是指汽车的“尾气排放量”，而汽车的“发动机排量”则是engine displacement，为了节能环保，也为了经济实惠，如今很多消费者都选择购买small-displacement cars（小排量汽车）。
