地道的词组表达
一、地道的英文表达
研究表明，运用英语短语、词组可以大大地提高句子的地道性，读来十分亲切。句子2由于使用词组使句子的质量大大提高：
1. When he was studying in England, people still respected him very much though his English level was very low because he was honest.
2. During his stay in England, people respected him for his honesty in spite of his poor English.
英语含有大量的动词短语（praise sb. for sth.）、名词短语(foreign affairs)、形容词短语(red with anger)、和介词短语(at the same time)等等，我们可以学习使用它们，提高表达水平。
二、运用提示的词组翻译句子：
1妈妈让我给马休息一下，因为我已让它跑了一天。 （have sth. do/doing）
2老师向全班解释了刚才我在办公室问的难点。（explain sth to sb）
3 必须通过新措施以免河流被污染。（stop…from）
4 暑假期间他去旅游不愿呆在家里。（prefer to do rather than do…）
